Easter 2012

We did a lot of egg hunting this Easter

First hunt was at the park in Bethel. The Easter bunny mad an appearance in an old Ford car. James was fascinated by the car. Miller wasn't to fond of the bunny. James told everyone at the hunt that the bunny wasn't real because he had a zipper. He  pays attention to detail. I explained to him the this was a helper of the Easter bunny's kinda like Santa's elves. He bought the story for this year.

Miller had a blast at her school egg hunt. She was a little dissapointed there was no candy in the eggs, but her preschool thought it would be a choking hazard for the toddlers. She looked adorable in her Easter outfit her Aunt Katie made for her.

James had a blast at his class egg hunt and party. 4year olds are so cute!

The Easter Bunny came to Bethel

We went to church in Robersonvlle with Gray's family and then lunch at his parents house. It was a beautiful day. Both the kids did great and we even had a surprise adult egg hunt. This is our attempt at a family photo.

What we've been up to!

One month from today this sweet little girl will be 2!

And this little boy is officially registered for Kindergarten!

I haven't had time to blog, didn't even finish the disney post but I will get to it oneday. So many people this past week have told me how much they missed my blog so I really need to make a point to start taking more pictures and make the time to do it. Miller is getting sassier by the day and talking up a storm. James is acting older every day. He has become so mature and doesn't want my help with anything. He's so creative and independent. We stay on the road a lot and stay busy. James is signed up for t-ball which will start in April. April will be a busy month for us! Gray's 31st Birthday, Miller's Birthday, and my 6th wedding Anniversary. More to come soon. I promise :)

Disney Trip 2012 Day 3

On Day 3 we headed to Hollywood Studios. Gray and I had both never been so it was an adventure for all 3 of us.

Our first stop was the Toy Story ride. We waited in line for probably 20-30 min our longest wait on our whole vacation and when we were next to get on the ride the whole ride broke down. They did give us 2 fast passes to come back so we didn't have to wait. I would have to say this is one of the best rides at any of the parks.

Next stop was Disney Jr. live. James got to see a puppet show with all of the characters of his shows. This is a must for preschool aged children.

James got a tattoo! Love this picture of him!

And the highlight of our trip... meeting Lightning McQueen and Mater. James is a HUGE Cars fan!

Lots of fun things for boys to look at.

Next we went to a stunt show with a surprise visit from McQueen and Mater. We all enjoyed this. We got to see how stunts were performed in movies.

 Time for a snack

James also really enjoyed getting to meet Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Hollywood Studios was one of my favorite days of the trip.

Disney Trip 2012 - Day 2

Day 2 we woke up and headed straight to the Magic Kingdom. We saw the welcome parade and headed to the park.

 1st stop Splash Mountian

Then we rode Pirates of the Caribbean and Magic Carpets of Alladin

James loved the animals on the Jungle Cruise. We rode a couple more rides and then went to meet Buzz Lightyear and Ride on the Toy Story Ride.

We stayed at the Magic Kingdom until around 2 and James was asking for  a nap. We went back to the hotel and he took a 2 hour nap without hesitation. When he woke up we ate dinner at the top of our hotel at the California Grill. It is rated one of the top 10 restaurants in the state of Florida. The food was great and so was the atmosphere. We had an awesome view of the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom from the restaurant too!

Disney Trip 2012- Day 1

We took James to Disney World in January. We all had so much fun! I 'm going to post each day separately due to all of the pictures.
On the first day we arrived to our hotel around 330pm. We stayed on Disney at the Contemporary Resort. Our room was very nice and clean and I would have to say when we go back with Miller I want to stay at the same place. We did upgrade to a club level floor which I highly recommend. We had concierge service, a lounge with complimentary breakfast everyday, afternoon snacks, evening appetizers and drinks. The Contemporary is a 5 min walk to the Magic Kingdom and the first stop on the Monorail system. James was so excited because the monoral ran straight through our hotel. Maybe the highlight of his trip.
After checking into the hotel we walked to the Magic Kingdom. We did not take a stroller and James didn't complain of the walking.

First stop was the teacups which we rode many many times

Surprise performance with all of the characters. It was great for James to see this right when we arrived. So magical!

It got dark very quickly so we went rode "Its a Small World" and headed back to the hotel

We were starving when we got back to our room so decided to go to Chef Mickeys which was in our hotel. We were so lucky we had a 10min wait and had dinner with the characters. James smiled the whole time. This was a perfect ending to a perfect 1st day at Disney

Christmas with the Corey's 2011- 2 Months Later

I finally updated my blogger so I can blog again. I thought there was something wrong with my computer but I guess it was my lack of computer knowledge. I don't know how to do simple computer things anymore... Anyway the next few posts will be catch up posts from the past 2 months.

COREY CHRISTMAS 2012
James wrote a letter to Santa and left him some milk and cookies
 Miller's Goodies
 James' Toys
Her favorite gift was her pram stroller
James loved everything
especially his 4wheeler
These turned out in reverse order but after lunch, we went to Smithfield to Nette and Granddaddy's. Both kids slept in the car on the way there. Miller looking so sweet in her Christmas dress.
James being silly with Uncle Kevin
Miller after bath in her 1st ponytail

Before we went to Smithfield we went to Gray's parents house in Robersonville to open gifts. Gray accidentally locked my keys in the car as soon as we got there so we had to call GM Roadside Assistance to come let us in the car. It was definitely a Christmas adventure.
Uncle Lee and aunt Katie gave James a new John Deere recliner.. he has enjoyed it so much!
The big boys playing with James' toy.
We had a wonderful Christmas and are very blessed to have so much of our family close by!
