8 Months Old

Eight months have flown by. Its hard to imagine in four short months I'll be planning Miller's first Birthday party! She turned 8 months on the 29th of December so this is a little post- Happy 8 months.
At 8 months Miller is getting up on her hands and knees and rocking. She spins and rolls to get anywhere she wants to go but is not crawling. She can stand un-supported against the coffee table but doesn't last long. She has learned patty cake and claps her hands nonstop. If we don't sing the song when she starts clapping she gets very frustrated. She also waves "hey" and "bye bye". Miller is still not loving her bottle (only drinks 4-6oz 4 times a day) and is still waking up during the night to eat. She slept through the night from 9 weeks old until she was 5 months. At 5 months she started waking up again and continues to get up. I know she has to be hungry so I always give in and feed her. We have let her "cry it out" a couple of nights but she is up for good super early in the morning. She loves solids and is eating 3 meals a day along with feeding herself puffs for snack.
Miller is such a trooper and hangs out with me 3 days a week in Greenville while James is in preschool. Her morning naps are really off those 3 days but she makes up for the lost time on our days at home. Her and James take an afternoon nap at the same time from about 1-4. Its so nice to have some alone time. This month Miller also had a very long cold and ran a fever with the cold. After 3 weeks of that mess we are all back to feeling better! Can't wait to see what she gets into this month!!

CHRISTMAS 2010

Sugar Cookies and Milk for Santa
James got WAY too many toys. Santa got a little excited this year!

Miller's pile...

SO SO excited about his new John Deere bike!

Miller had a Bailey's box under the tree from Daddy. It was a pearl bracelet. So sweet!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. James was so much fun to watch. Miller was such a trooper and napped well everywhere we went. We spent Christmas morning in Bethel, went to Robersonville for breakfast at Gray's parents house, lunch at his grandmothers, and then off to Smithfield for Christmas night. It was a busy day but we are thankful that we have our families close!
