BEAUTIFUL BABIES!!! Bethel is having a baby boom finally. Gray and I got to spend time with two sweet boys on Tuesday night. I'm glad that James will have some playmates.

Uncle John

Last week we hung out with John, one of Gray's best friends. John loves James and James had a BLAST playing with John. John won the honorary "Uncle" status for the week.
An added bonus James got to watch Max and Ruby on a laptop... 100% entertainment. John will be a great dad oneday!

One Year ago Today....

Not much has changed looking at these pictures... James still makes this face. I wonder what he will be doing this time next year?

Beach Trip with Friends

So tired. He slept for over 2 hours on the beach!!!

We had a great time at the beach. James is really becoming a little "beach bum". This was the first time that we had been on a trip with other children and James had a blast. Having other kids around is constant entertainment and the adults actually get to relax. I see many more "friends" beach trips in the future.

On Wednesday night we went to welcome James's cousin Anna back to the United States. She had been in Europe for a few weeks studying abroad. James and Ella didn't stop playing/ running for the entire 3 hours that we were there. Notice in the last picture...red cheeks, wet hair, holding his eyes open, and lots of sweat. I think they both slept really good that night.

James and his Friends

James has started sleeping with all of his "friends" aka stuffed animals. Its not really a big deal to have them in the crib at bedtime but they HAVE to be there at nap time. It all started when he was fighting for a nap one day and I suggested that Curious George was sooo tired and he needed to go to sleep. I tucked George in bed with James and each week it seems like we have a new animal in the crib. The newest addition is my first baby doll... I might need to get that one out of there. Thankfully he is still taking 3 hour naps!

Farm

Tobacco season has officially started. James has been hanging out at the farm a lot in the afternoons. Gray has been very busy at work and I've been entertaining a two year old day and night. It is so nice to have a place where James can run free.! Sorry for the lack of blog posts, I really haven't been carrying my camera around with me like I usually do. Here are a few pictures that I took last week. There will definitley be more to come.

Beach

We had a great time at the beach last week and I definitley have a child that loves the water! James was sick for the first part of the week with croup, but by the time we came home he was feeling much better....maybe the ocean air had something to do with it. I took James to the aquarium while we were there and that was great entertainment. We also ate out at a lot of really good restaurants and made many memories. Thanks so much Nan Nan and Pop Pop for letting us come to the beach with you!
