Disney Trip 2012- Day 1

We took James to Disney World in January. We all had so much fun! I 'm going to post each day separately due to all of the pictures.
On the first day we arrived to our hotel around 330pm. We stayed on Disney at the Contemporary Resort. Our room was very nice and clean and I would have to say when we go back with Miller I want to stay at the same place. We did upgrade to a club level floor which I highly recommend. We had concierge service, a lounge with complimentary breakfast everyday, afternoon snacks, evening appetizers and drinks. The Contemporary is a 5 min walk to the Magic Kingdom and the first stop on the Monorail system. James was so excited because the monoral ran straight through our hotel. Maybe the highlight of his trip.
After checking into the hotel we walked to the Magic Kingdom. We did not take a stroller and James didn't complain of the walking.

First stop was the teacups which we rode many many times

Surprise performance with all of the characters. It was great for James to see this right when we arrived. So magical!

It got dark very quickly so we went rode "Its a Small World" and headed back to the hotel

We were starving when we got back to our room so decided to go to Chef Mickeys which was in our hotel. We were so lucky we had a 10min wait and had dinner with the characters. James smiled the whole time. This was a perfect ending to a perfect 1st day at Disney

Christmas with the Corey's 2011- 2 Months Later

I finally updated my blogger so I can blog again. I thought there was something wrong with my computer but I guess it was my lack of computer knowledge. I don't know how to do simple computer things anymore... Anyway the next few posts will be catch up posts from the past 2 months.

COREY CHRISTMAS 2012
James wrote a letter to Santa and left him some milk and cookies
 Miller's Goodies
 James' Toys
Her favorite gift was her pram stroller
James loved everything
especially his 4wheeler
These turned out in reverse order but after lunch, we went to Smithfield to Nette and Granddaddy's. Both kids slept in the car on the way there. Miller looking so sweet in her Christmas dress.
James being silly with Uncle Kevin
Miller after bath in her 1st ponytail

Before we went to Smithfield we went to Gray's parents house in Robersonville to open gifts. Gray accidentally locked my keys in the car as soon as we got there so we had to call GM Roadside Assistance to come let us in the car. It was definitely a Christmas adventure.
Uncle Lee and aunt Katie gave James a new John Deere recliner.. he has enjoyed it so much!
The big boys playing with James' toy.
We had a wonderful Christmas and are very blessed to have so much of our family close by!

November Recap

Thanksgiving 2011... We celebrated Thanksgiving this year in Robersonville at Gray's Grandmother's. The kids had so much fun playing with their cousins! The following Saturday we had my family to our house in Bethel and then on Sunday had lunch with Gray's other grandmother in Bethel. A very busy week and weekend.

I had my tonsils taken out on Nov 16th. Definitely not a walk in the park and I would probably have to say it hurt worse than childbirth! Now 3 weeks later I still have some scabbing and pain but I'm finally eating again and have my energy back. I will spare all of you with the pictures.

For the past 3 years we have gotten our Christmas tree at my sister in law Katie's parents house in Battleboro. The trees come straight from the mountains. They are always so fresh and smell so good!! I love the tradition we have started and the kids have a blast. James wanted all of the HUGE trees but we settled on a perfect one (more pictures to come). It was too big once we got it in the house but we made it work.

A precious outfit from Katie's shop Miss Piggy's Boutique/ Southern monograms. Check her out on facebook or her website misspiggysboutique.com. The clothes are all handmade. She also sells monogrammed gifts and bags.

Just thought I would share this cute picture of James and Miller on round 3 of Thanksgiving playing the piano together.

Halloween 2011

Didn't take many pictures.. James was not cooperative with the camera. He was a police man "Officer Corey". He took his costume very seriously this year. He LOVED all the candy and trick or treating.

Miller was a "Sweet Strawberry"

Miller introduced Mason to his first piece of candy.

One Month Later and Fall Fun!

Sorry for the lack of blogging... I just haven't been in the mood. We have stayed busy and have been having lots of fun! The next few post will play catchup to what we've been up to.. We went to the Pitt County fair. James loved it, Miller did too but she wanted to run wild all over the place and didn't love being cooped up in her stroller. Both kids loved the animals. We didn't even eat a single bit of fair food (my fav) this year. Quick but fun trip!

Miller's hair is finally long enough for pigtails. Isn't it just adorable!!!

Playdate with Leighton

Fun in the cotton field. This picture is a perfect example of each child's individual personality!!

Miller Starts Preschool

Miller started 1 day a week at James' preschool Memorial Baptist in Greenville. She loves the interaction with other children, so hopefully this will be a good experience for her. She wasn't shy at all the first day, walked right in and started playing.

So glad her buddy Holton is in her class!

James' 1st Day of 4 year Preschool

James started 4 year old preschool last week. He will be going M-Th from 9-12. He has jumped right back into the swing of things at school and seems to be liking it so far. His teacher this year is Mrs. Smirne. He told me last night she was his best friend, so thats a very good sign and start to a new school year!
