James is Three

James had a Great 3rd Birthday! His actual Birthday is July 3rd but his party is going to be on the 10th. We had breakfast at Cracker Barrell, then went to the jump place. Nette and Granddaddy came to visit and then Nan Nan and Pop Pop had dinner with us. I couldn't have asked for a better day! This is what happens when he see's a John Deere box!

Cute Cake

He kept saying John Deere #1

James loves being a Big Brother. I hope him and Miller will share many more Birthday's together.

Worst Blogger

I guess I can get the worst blogger award.... I just found my camera charger yesterday so I will start taking some pictures!
The pool had opened so we have been spending lots of time there. It is really hard taking 2 but luckily James does really well by himself with his float on as long as there are other children there to entertain him. I try to go when I know Miller will fall asleep so I can spend some alone time with him.
Speaking of James, he will be 3 next Saturday! The past 3 years definitley have flown by and now that we have a baby in the house it makes James seem so grown and mature. He still isn't potty trained. He goes if he is reminded but doesn't ask to go and when he is too busy playing he has accidents. I am up for any advice. I really want him potty trained by the end of the summer.
Miller is doing good. She is a really fussy but sweet baby and its still getting easier every week. I kinda have here on a schedule so my days are a little more predictable.
I promise to post some pictures soon!

Miller - 6 weeks

James and Noah

They play really well together!
Riding in James' truck
(Noah wasn't allowed to ride in the front at first)

Now that school is out James wants to play with friends everyday. He misses school so much! Noah came over to play last week and they had a great time. They both love tractors and trucks and could play outside all day!

Mr and Mrs Lewis Corey

Lewis and Jena got married May 22nd in Morehead City. The bridesmaids luncheon, rehearsal dinner, and wedding were great! I left my babies for 2 days with my parents. We all survived...I missed them so much but it was great to have a weekend away!

Uncle Kevin and Aunt LeeAnna

Uncle Kevin and Aunt LeeAnna came to visit 2 weeks ago. James loves playing with them and they love playing with James! Don't yall want to move a little closer???

Miller's Nursery

Sorry for the delay in nursery pictures...better late than never! I am so happy with Miller's nursery, it honestly turned out better that I expected. We got her bedding from http://www.javisdavis.com/. I loved working with them on her bedding and they have the best customer service. The furniture came from Pottery Barn Kids and all of the other decorations came from various websites that I found while on bedrest. I still have a chandelier to hang but we have had problems with our plaster ceiling and old wiring so it will be coming soon!

James and his Friends

We have had a lot of fun playing with Aulden and Ella Carsyn!

Miller Claire Corey

Miller Claire Corey

April 29th 2010

10:02 am

6lbs 9oz 18 inches

Miller was born on Thursday morning which also happened to be mine and Gray's 4 year wedding anniversary. I went to the hospital Wednesday night around 9:40 and I was having contractions but nothing regular at all. I was 4cm dilated and 80% effaced. We power walked the halls of the hospital for an hour and I had progressed to 4-5 and 100% effaced. I was admitted around 11:30 and was told to get some sleep because I was still in pre-labor. I was in no pain and pretty comfortable. Around 7:30 nothing had changed and they decided to break my water. As soon as that happend the contractions came and labor began. I had an epidural but it didn't work completley. It didn't work with James either.. I was told I have a crooked spot in my spine right in the epidural place. It helped the pain a little but I could still feel my contractions. I was in labor for 2hrs and 45 min and pushed for 2 min. She was born at 10:02 and it was the fastest, easiest labor imaginable.. even without a full epidural or pain medication. What a great anniversary present!

Dr. Harris delivered. She is one of my favorite doctors in the practice.
