Beach 2011

Miller was such bathing beauty and got so much attention on the beach. This child is fearless! She loved the water, sand, and making a mess.
Just one of her 10 bathing suits of the summer!
In her bikini...
We visited the aquarium. This is the only picture I got of both kids together the entire trip.
James and Daddy rode go karts. James talked about this for days!
The waterslides were fun for everyone! James didn't want to leave!
Miller and Daddy had fun too!
Miller out to dinner in my 30 year old dress. If I can find a picture of me wearing it I will post pictures of me in mine at this age. I am so glad she got to wear it and it sure looked cute on her.

We had a great vacation! It was a lot of work for Gray and I but the memories are worth it. I can't wait to go back next year!

4 years old

James turned 4 July 3rd. We were at the beach for the week and celebrated his birthday there. We had his party the week before we left (will post pics soon). I think he was a little confused about what day his real birthday was on but he definitely had fun celebrating 2 times. I will have to say James' 3rd year was a challenging but fun one. There is no such thing as the terrible 2's. 3 was not terrible by any means but 3 was full personality and challenges. At 3 James was potty trained, learned voice his opinion, learned to give up or try to give up a nap, choose what he wanted to eat, learned to get out of his car seat, and the list goes on. I love this age though. They are so innocent and sweet. James has such a tender heart but is also such a firecracker and wants things the way he wants them. I love how he wakes up every morning and asks "where we going today?" He knows all the words to his daddy's favorite songs. I love when I do something he thinks is funny he tells me "i'm so siwwy"! At times I think I embarass him. James plays so hard with his tractors and in his sandbox, he loves his blue blanket. Nothing makes hims happier than a new tractor or a truck. He thinks he is a farmer and he needs to go to work. I love this age and would love to freeze him. Its the transitional age between a toddler and a little boy. He will be in preschool only one more year and I can't believe we will be registering him for kindergarten in only 6 months. Happy Birthday my sweet little boy!
