James' 2nd Birthday Party

James doesn't turn 2 until July 3rd but since his Birthday will always fall around 4th of July we will always have to have his party early. The party was on Saturday and was so much fun! Here are just a few pictures of the party. James didn't wake up until 9:30 this morning and still took a 2.5 hour nap. He definitley was worn out!

Beach Pictures

We had a blast at the beach!!! James is completely fearless in the ocean and the pool. Earlier this year I thought he hated the pool..I guess it was just a phase. He took long naps and never fussed to go to sleep at night. It was a wonderful vacation and we make a lot of memories!

We're going to the beach!

Tomorrow we're headed to Wrightsville Beach for 3 nights. It is amazing how much James has changed in a year. These pictures are exactly a year ago to the week. Hopefully this year will be much easier at the beach, I don't even remember sitting down last year. Thank goodness for sand and beach toys! I will post lots of pictures when we get back.

My grandmother, James' great-grandmother came into town for Kevin's wedding. This was only the second time that she had seen James. I didn't get many pictures because James wouldn't stay still, but its the memories that we will remember most. I loved having her here and really wish she lived closer!!

Last Day of Gymnastics

On the last day of gymnastics, James got to fly through the air. Out of the 12 kids in his class, only 4 would fly....of course James did. Gymnastics has been so much fun for the both of us and gives James the chance to be around other children. We are definitely taking again in the fall!
