We just got back from the allergist and it was confirmed that James is allergic to egg whites. Many kids outgrow this allergy and 90% do by age 5. The doctor recommended that James start an "egg free" diet for a year and then he will be tested again before his second Birthday. This really stinks because he has just started eating the Gerber Graduates Pasta meals and they all contain eggs. What is he going to eat now?????
I've had such a hard time getting James to eat table foods, but I think he is finally getting there. Last night he ate a fish stick, 3 green beans, and some pieces of cheese. Last week he wouldn't touch cheese. He is also eating nabs, sugar wafers, and a variety of other crackers. Any suggestions on other things I should try??? He sure loves his cheese puffs!!!!
Today James learned how to climb up on the couch. The only problem is he can't get off...and our coffee table is right in front of the couch. He wasn't too happy with me when I wouldn't let him play on the couch.
Gray and I have had a stomach bug. It only lasts 24-48 hours but please pray that you don't get it! We survived but it was hard, especially with an active 13 month old running around the house. James really enjoyed Gray being home for 2 whole days!
All of my friends have girls. I'm sure James won't be complaining in about 15 years. We went to Smithfield on Wednesday afternoon and got to spend time with Maddy and Addie. I don't have many pictures of Addie and James because they are both very mobile. James loved playing with Maddy's toys and her puppy Dixon.
James got his first haircut on Tuesday. I didn't want to cut it but it really was time. I didn't get many pictures because he wouldn't sit still and I had to hold him. I think it looks really cute!!!
Gray and I have been married going on 5 years. We have been through so much in the past 4 years.. so many memories I wouldn't trade for anything. We live in a small town, Bethel, NC with our 3 year old James and Miller who was born on our 4th Anniversiary April 29th.
