Outside Fun

Outside time is so much fun in the summertime. James loves his baby pool and his pink stroller....don't ask me why a little boy who loves tractors and trucks likes this stroller so much!

Horses

Last weekend we went to Gray's cousin Robert's 16th Birthday party. They have 2 horses right beside the house. As soon as we pulled up James was pointing at them. He loves looking at horses and other large animals in books so all I heard was "Wow"....He loved petting and touching them and wasn't shy at all. We will definitley be back to ride one before the summer is over.

Fishing

James loves to fish in Smithfield with Nette and Granddaddy! This picture is from Mother's Day weekend.

1st Big Boo Boo

James had so much fun at the park today but went down the slide a little too fast one time. His lip is HUGE. It really bothered him when he tried to eat lunch but after his nap he was good as new. Hopefully it will go down within the next few days and not get any worse.

Sprinklers

One perk to our house is that it came with a sprinkler system. Gray and I turned it on one night last week and James was in heaven! He had so much fun that I think this will be something we do all summer for entertainment. We had to bribe him with a push up to come inside.

The day his dreams came true....

My mom took James to the fire station in Smithfield 2 weeks ago. James absolutely loves firetrucks and this definitely made his day. The fire woman was so nice and let him explore and look at anything he wanted to. Here are a few pictures of his adventure. Thanks Nette for taking James!

Little Rockstar!

Tonight we were watching last night's American Idol (disco night) and James was loving the music. He loves all kinds of music, but especially anything with a dance beat. Within seconds of taking this picture he said "rock star". We were shocked! Gray had been saying rock star over and over while James was dancing. This is a big step for James...he still isn't saying too much but I hear a new word almost every day. This made my night!
