James and Miller both LOVE being outdoors. We spend the mornings and afternoons outside or at the pool. The mosquitoes are in Love with Miller. I think we need to get our yard sprayed. Here are a few pics of the past couple of weeks.

*13 Months *

At 13 months Miller is finally walking. Cave baby craw is her preferable method of getting around but she is taking 8-10 steps at a time. Still only 2 teeth but we are done with baby food. Miller only wants table foods and her favorites are red sauce based pastas, waffles, and granola bars. She also loves veggie sticks and french fries. Yogurt is about the only thing she will let me feed her with a spoon. Outside play is a favorite and Miller loves the pool. She also loves getting into anything James is trying to do. He always tells me "time for Miller's nap" and closes his door so she can't get to his toys. She does love him so much! She is saying a few new words and clearly says thank you, ball, and balloon. I love this age and wish I could freeze her for a little while!

*1 YEAR OLD*

Look who is 1!!!
At 1 year old Miller is 20lbs 1oz and 29 inches long. She's in the 25th percentile for weight and 50th for height. She's wearing 12 month clothes. She is standing on her own and walking with a walker but not on her own. She still only has 2 teeth but LOVES to eat. She will eat anything that you put in front of her. Miller has had 6 ear infections, a bacterial infection, and had her first trip to the ER yesterday. She has been sick enough to last her the next 5 years. I pray that the next year of her life will be filled with health and happiness! Miller loves to clap her hands and she is saying many words (ma ma, da da, bye bye, Heeey, night night , ba ba, juice, out, and a few more). She really is the happiest baby! She goes with the flow and always has a smile on her face. Miller doesn't like loud noises and sirens and drive thru car washes scare her. This first year has flown faster than I could ever imagine and I can't wait for many more!

Easter 2011

SCHOOL EGG HUNT
James' preschool Easter egg hunt was the Wed before Easter. He was so excited the night before he couldn't sleep! He found the golden egg!!!
Class shot! These are always so funny to me!

CHURCH EGG HUNT
You can tell James was so excited to take a picture with his sister!

EASTER

We had a wonderful Easter. Woke up and both kids loved what the Easter bunny had brought them. We went to church and then headed to Robersonville to Gray's parents house. We ate lunch and had an "adult" easter egg hunt. It was a lot of fun! James kept telling Gray and I where the eggs were hidden. After lunch Miller came home and took a nap. James was pooped and fell asleep on the den floor.

Swingset!!!!

Gray Turns 30

Gray's 20th was April 9th. Your Perfect Cake in Greenville did a great job on his cake. Gray was surprised. We celebrated the night before his Birthday at the Corey pond in Robersonville. Gray and my sister in law Katie share the same Birthday so we celebrated both Birthday's. Gray and I had a nice adult Dinner at Starlight Cafe on his Birthday!
Great Picture of Gray from college...

Eleven

11 months (a little late) but how did it get here so fast?

Miller is so much fun! She is so giggly and happy and I have so much fun playing and laughing with her. She finally got her first two teeth, the first one popped out the week before she turned 11 months. Not having many teeth has not stopped this little girl from eating. She loves to eat anything and everything. Loves all stage 3 baby food, cheese grits, toast, chic fil a nuggets, and french fries. Weve mastered the sippy cup and I've been introducing whole milk at dinner time in her cup.

She is crawilng so fast and into everything. Just yesterday she discovered how to crawl on our brick fireplace, got in the toliet, and under the kitchen sink. We love playing outside and she loved her walker and the sandbox. I think she will love the beach this summer, but I will have a lot of chasing to do!

Miller is babbling a lot! She says (da da, ma ma, bye bye, nite nite, and woooow!) I am teaching her to hold up one finger for her First Birthday... she's slowly getting it.

She is taking 2 naps around 2 hours each and sleeping 7am-7pm (most nights). Miller loves her Daddy and gets so excited when he comes home at nights. She also loves her big brother but he gets so frustrated with her at this age.

A 11 months I could ask for a better baby! Having 2 is so much fun and each day is an adventure!
