James LOVES Elmo and was really excited this morning when I pulled out his Elmo slippers. They finally fit! He didn't do much walking in them...he was too distracted kissing Elmo.
Today we went over to Hudson's house to see his baby chicks. James loved playing with them and gave them lots of kisses. It was so cute to see two toddlers interacting with the chicks. I'm sure we will go play with them again before Easter.
The warm weather this week has been so nice. James got to spend some quality time outside. He really loves to rake. He moves the rake around the yard and then looks up at me and claps his little hands. It is so cute. He's also been helping Granddaddy James out on the farm.
I have no pictures... but James climbed out of the crib yesterday. I put him down for his nap around 1:00 and then I played around on the computer for about 15 minutes. Our grass was being mowed at the time so there was lots of noise outside. I walk in the kitchen to make my lunch and there is James on the sofa playing with my wallet. My heart dropped! All he could do was look at me and smile. The moment was priceless!! I put him back and he continued to escape 3 more times. After the third time I told him it was "TIME" to go to bed. I guess he got the point and slept for 2 hours. Last night we put him to bed as usual and he slept through the night. Wish me luck!!!
a Here are a few pictures of James at Gymnastics. I took over 30 pictures but these were the only ones that came out. I need to take my nice camera next time. He is really enjoying Gymnastics, it is worth every penny.
I personally think James is a pretty good mix but at times James and Gray look just like twins. The more I look at my baby pictures I see more and more of me in James. What do you think?
We went to the park today with Hudson. They were both typical boys and more interested in trees, trashcans, water fountains, and lawnmowers. James would stay outside ALL day if I would let him! We both can't wait until summer!!!!
Today we went to Greenville to a brand new jump place called Jumpin Parties for Ella Gray's 4th Birthday party. Everyone had such a good time! I wish these places would have been around when I was younger. I think this is where James is going to have his Birthday party. It is tons of fun and they take care of everything for you. Of course he was ALL over the place...He followed Ella around for a while, met a new friend, Fisher, jumped his heart out, and LOVED playing the video games. I'm going to take him back next week to jump if anyone wants to go.
Today we finally made it to church. We have missed church a lot because James naps right in the middle of church time. If you know James...you know we don't mess up his naps. He has recently started taking a later nap so we will definitley be going more. Here are a few pictures of him all dressed up.
Gray and I have been married going on 5 years. We have been through so much in the past 4 years.. so many memories I wouldn't trade for anything. We live in a small town, Bethel, NC with our 3 year old James and Miller who was born on our 4th Anniversiary April 29th.
